Funshine Bear is one of the Care Bears and is yellow with a smiling sunshine on her tummy. Her play piece accessory is the Sun-Catcher net.
According to a promotional brochure from 1984, "Funshine Bear's sun shows a sunny outlook."
On a poster with a saying for each Care Bear, Funshine Bear says:
"Everyday's a beautiful day when you have a sunny outlook like me. I'm the bear who helps you find the happy things that each day can bring your way."
