Tenderheart Bear

Tenderheart Bear is one of the Care Bears and is brown with a red heart on his tummy. His play piece accessory is the Caring Heart Mirror.

According to a promotional brochure from 1984, "Tenderheart Bear's big red heart is the sign of caring a lot."

On a poster with a saying for each Care Bear, Tenderheart Bear says:

"Everyone needs to be cared about every once in a while and that's when you need me. I help you share your good feelings with others and, wherever I go, I leave a trail of love and tenderness for all to follow."
