Owl Brooch Postage Stamp Soldered Glass Pin Saw Whet Owl
This soldered glass owl brooch features a vintage postage stamp with an illustration of a Saw Whet owl. The stamp is from the 1978 Wildlife Conservation stamp series; there were four stamps in the set and each featured a different owl.
In keeping with the wildlife conservation theme, the stamp is enclosed between two pieces of glass salvaged from a broken window, making this an eco-friendly piece. Soldered using our soft-soldering technique to give it a smooth and even finish, the brooch has a sturdy pin bar on the back.
