Mountain Heather Blythe Doll Folk Dress Outfit
This handmade Blythe doll folk outfit draws its inspiration from mountain heather flowers and includes multiple pieces with pink and purple accents. There's a black babushka or head scarf, a white peasant dress that doubles as a blouse, a lavender shawl, a black skirt, and a pink apron.
Each piece of clothing is basic on its own - but when the pieces are worn together, they create the look of a traditional folk tale from another time and place. The pieces can also be mixed and matched with other items to make the most of your doll's wardrobe.
The babushka is black with embroidered trim with pink and purple flowers on it. The trim ties under the chin. This trim is repeated on the plain black skirt and on the pink apron, which also has lace trim and decorative lavender stitching. The shawl is a lovely lavender color and fastens at the front with a snap.
The white blouse has short sleeves trimmed in lace and purple ribbons on the sleeves and one on the front at the neckline. The blouse has elastic at the neckline and can be worn with the back snapped shut, or unsnapped and lowered slightly off the shoulders.
The blouse is actually a short dress that can be worn under the skirt or on its own as a nightgown or peasant dress. Wear it with the apron for the look of a summer dress.
Also included is a handmade polymer clay basket. The basket is brown and has a bundle of dried lavender in it.
The shoes shown are not included.
