Honey Doll Vintage 1975 Fisher-Price Lap Sitter with Cloth Body
This vintage Fisher-Price baby doll is Honey. The baby doll has blonde hair, blue eyes, and wears a yellow outfit with white flowers. Honey is from a line of dolls marketed towards toddlers. The dolls in this line were commonly referred to as "lap sitters" because they could easily sit on a child's lap.
The original box had this description of Honey on the back:
"Honey. A simple, lovable doll with a huggable cloth body designed especially for little ones. Honey's brightly colored sleeper is securely fastened so no parts can come off. The face and hands are soft, smooth plastic. And Honey is completely machine washable and dryer safe, too."
The back of Honey's hair has some paint rubs, but the face and body are nice and clean despite the age. There is a small circle on the front of the sleeper, this used to have the Fisher-Price logo on it but that part has fallen off.
A tag on the back of Honey's body is marked "Fisher-Price Toys, 1975, 208."
