Owl Postage Stamp Soldered Pendant Necklace
This double-sided soldered glass pendant necklace features two vintage postage stamps, each with a beautifully detailed illustration. One side has a 1958 Forest Conservation stamp showing trees, stumps, and deer; the other side shows a 1978 Wildlife Conservation stamp with a Great Horned Owl perched on a branch in front of a snowy scene.
The pendant has a single dark brown freshwater pearl hanging from the bottom and hangs from a necklace of olive green cord finished with a silver clasp. The glass for this piece was salvaged from a broken windowpane.
