Stranger Things Applejack In The Upside Down My Little Pony Classic Reissue Version

This My Little Pony toy is a special Classic Reissue version of Applejack. Basic Fun and Hasbro collaborated to create a pony inspired by the series Stranger Things, which takes place in the fabulous 1980s.

Applejack appears to be in The Upside Down - she's positioned upside down in the box, and instead of her usual orange body and yellow hair, she has a light blue or grey body and very dark blue hair. Her eyes are two different shades of blue. Her apple symbols are dark blue and are printed upside down. She comes with a turquoise blue tail ribbon and a blue flower brush. 

The side of the box says "Stranger Things x My Little Pony" and has part of the quote from Season 3, Episode 6 when Dustin mentions My Little Pony:

"All the pink in the world can't disguise the irrefutable fact that CASTLES and CENTAURS and DRAGONS and MAGIC are all standard NERD TROPES - ergo, My Little Pony is NERDY - ergo, YOU, ERICA, are a NERD." - Dustin Henderson

The back of the box has a monochromatic scene with Applejack and says:

My Little Pony Classic Earth Ponies are adored for their big personalities and love of nature. These authentic replicas from the 1980s are sure to be the perfect addition to any collection for fans of all ages.

The box shows some shelf wear, including minor scuffs, scratches, and bent areas in the plastic on the front of the box.

Please note: For the Classic Reissue Ponies, the manufacturer didn't always use glue to attach the pony's head to its body. This is likely a design choice - many of the issues with G1 pony deterioration are due to their heads being glued on, and collectors often remove their heads to make repairs and customizations. This also allows the pony's head to turn. But ponies without glue may have a visible gap between the head and body and it's possible that the head may fall off easily.

This item is sold sealed in its original packaging, so there's no way for us to check whether the pony's neck joint is glued or not. If you plan to open the packaging and remove the pony, please be aware that you may wish to use glue to seal the head and neck joint if your pony's head is not firmly attached.
