Legend of Sleepy Hollow Necklace Soldered Glass Pendant with Vintage Headless Horseman Postage Stamp
This soldered pendant necklace was made with a 1974 postage stamp depicting a scene from The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, a short story by Washington Irving. The scene shows the silhouette of the Headless Horseman chasing Ichabod Crane against a bright orange moon, a black tree, and a midnight blue sky.
The pendant hangs from a silky black cord finished with a silver clasp. The glass from this pendant was salvaged from a broken window, and the stamp has been canceled, so they both tell stories of a previous life.
